Training with the British Chamber of Commerce EU & Belgium.
Rules of origin have become the devilish detail that traders must understand to benefit from the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement, but what are the rules the EU usually negotiate?
Join this training and get the fundamentals on the different rules determining if a product can be considered as “originating” in Free Trade Agreements. Elements such as cumulation, tolerance thresholds, minimal operations will be explained in-depth.
Cesar Guerra is giving the training. He is a Partner and Director of Trade Policy at Euraffex. He previously worked for the Mexican Government for more than 25 years in different positions on trade negotiations and was Mexico’s chief negotiator with the EU on the recently concluded agreement. Before that, he was in charge of market access and rules of origin negotiations in the WTO and the CPTPP.
When: The training takes place (online) on 9 February from 10:00 – 11:00 (Brussels Time).
